debh.jpgSLA's 23 Things is a self-directed training program to help members develop confidence and skills using a wide range of Web 2.0 tools to become knowledgeable and able to discuss and utilize them with clients or for their own networking and marketing strategies. Come learn about how to get started, motivated to complete all 23, and share tips that have worked for you to do the 23 Things. We'll also discuss how to use these Web 2.0 tools to grow our own businesses.

About Deb Hunt

Deb is founder and Principal of Information Edge, which specializes in enterprise content management, knowledge services, professional research, and library creation and automation. Deb is active in AIIP, serving on the Board of Directors from 2001-2003 and the Annual Conference Committee from 2005-2009. She was AIIP Conference Chair in 2001. Deb has been a member of SLA since 1986 and currently serves on the SLA Board as a Director. She was the recipient of the 2008 SLA Presidential Citation and was honored by Information World Review (IWR) magazine for her work on behalf of SLA to spearhead and implement the innovative "23 Things" program.  Deb also received the SLA Karen J. Switt Management Leadership Award in 2009. She is a past president (twice) of BayNet, the San Francisco Bay Area Library and Information Network.
