Do Your Written Materials Do You Justice?

Presenter: Ulla de Stricker

Everything we leave behind for others to see—emails, proposals, reports, blogs, and websites—provides evidence of our skills and professionalism. While the language reflects our thinking, the visual appearance is a mirror of our attention to detail, our ability to organize complex material, and our regard for the viewer’s ease of reading.

In her usual energetic and positive manner, Ulla provides a set of simple tips and tricks for ensuring our “professional trails” signal quality and value. By popular demand, the session derives from her popular 2011 “Tips on the Terrace” offering.

About the Presenter

Ulla de Stricker is a knowledge management consultant in Toronto, helping her clients “get a grip” on many kinds of information related challenges. In that work and in her volunteer work, she deals with a lot of documentation in an editorial capacity, and she believes the evidence we leave behind in the content and appearance of our written materials is very much a part of our brand.
