This lively half-day workshop will look at that part of research which takes place after you finish your searching. What are the most cost-effective and efficient ways to add value to your research results? How can you create deliverables that make it clear to your clients the value you add? This workshop will provide you with the tools, resources and techniques to enable you to clearly demonstrate the additional value that you bring to your clients, and thereby increase your billables. This workshop will include lecture, small group activities, individual worksheets, and interactive discussions.

At the end of this half-day workshop, you'll know how to:   

• Employ the "Value-Adding" mind-set – examining every aspect of your deliverables and identifying how your clients find and use information.
• Use specific post-processing tools and techniques with every client project.
• Employ techniques for getting higher-end information from the online services – e.g., data mining, specialized output, and data visualization tools from key online vendors.
• Clearly demonstrate your value to clients through high-impact deliverables – with every project.
