QD Information Services LLC
Ed Vawter is President of QD Information and has been in business since 2004 after 15 years in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. He is an AIIP Past President, has a PhD in chemistry, and has been interested in technology since the early 1980’s. He has used Windows PCs and Mac OS X as well as UNIX based computers although his preferred platform is Mac OS X. He used an Android phone for many years before switching to his iPhone 5 last year. He has been speaking and teaching about technology for many years and has given numerous talks and presentations on various aspects of technology as it applies to running a business. He is an early adopter and has been active in social media since 2005. He has refocused his business on teaching individuals and small to medium-sized companies use social media as well as their iPhones, iPads, and Mac OS X computers.
Charlene Burke is CEO of Search by Burke, LLC an online marketing agency of experienced and trained online marketing professionals serving customers nationwide and providing online marketing to businesses wanting their website to be an extension of their sales force: their focus is to make sure their clients’ businesses are successful online. The agency serves the manufacturing, service, real estate, healthcare, and non-profit sectors. She offers training and seminars in the areas of Social Media Marketing and Online Marketing.

Heather Carine is a librarian who moved into marketing and now specialises in providing insightful research on Australian and international companies, industries, and business people to support clients around the world in business proposals and strategies, competitive market knowledge, and recruitment. Heather is an award winning writer and has been published in many Australian and international information management publications. In 2012, Heather was honoured to receive the Pam Wegmann International Award from AIIP.
