CONFERENCE: Proposals due for 2016 AIIP Conference

Proposals should include all of the following information, and be emailed to by September 15, 2015:  

  • Type of proposal: Main conference, Tips, Posters and Beyond, or Workshop.
  • Working title
  • Description of up to 500 words addressing
    • Why your topic may appeal to AIIP members
    • How it ties into the theme of the conference
    • Style of presentation (podium/PPT, panel, interactive, PechaKucha etc.)
    • Opportunity for audience interaction, work, Q/A, etc.
    • 2 or 3 key ideas or takeaways  
  • Type of AV support desired
  • Identify a Lead Presenter and any Co-Presenters. For each, provide:
    • Name
    • Brief bio highlighting expertise in relation to proposed topic
    • Phone and email contact info
    • Professional association membership (AIIP, STC, PIUG, etc.),
    • Links to any work or references you wish to provide to assist the committee.
    • Please do NOT include photos of presenters at this time


You should expect an email confirmation of receipt of your proposal within one week of submitting it to 


After the September 15, 2015 deadline, the committee will evaluate all submissions and accept or decline all proposals by October 31, 2015.


If your proposal is accepted, you will receive further details about timelines for finalizing program descriptions, submitting headshots, and other arrangements.
