AIIP's membership levels fit any stage of an independent info pro career.
All Association members receive the AIIP Connections quarterly publication and have access to the AIIP-L discussion forum. All members also agree to support the Objectives of the Association and accept the Association's Code of Ethical Business Practice.
Full Membership (US$200/year)
To be eligible for Full membership, an applicant must own at least 25% of a for-profit information-centric business.

Associate Membership (US$200/year)
For those not eligible for Full membership, including information professionals who have not yet started their own business, an Associate membership is a great option.
Student Membership (US$50/year)
If you are interested in info entrepreneurship, and you’re enrolled with a minimum of six credits in an accredited, degree-granting college or university, a Student membership is a great fit.
Student membership can help you assess your options for starting a business after graduation. An individual may hold a Student membership for no more than a total of two years.Join as a Student Member Renew Student Membership
Supporting Membership (US$500/year)
All individuals, organizations, and corporations that value the objectives of AIIP are eligible for Supporting membership. Supporting members receive all of the benefits of Full membership (if qualified) or Associate membership while also enjoying special recognition as supporters of AIIP.

Retired Membership (US$75/year)
The Retired membership level is designed for individuals who previously owned information-centric businesses, and who were AIIP members for at least three years. Years of membership did not need to be consecutive.
Emeritus Membership (US$50/year)
The Emeritus membership level is designed for individuals who previously owned information-centric businesses. To qualify, you must have been an AIIP member for at least eight years, the most recent being five consecutive years as a Full member.
